Service Terms in Illinois

What General Pest Control Covers

Last updated: October 2026

Illinois Pest Solutions provides general pest control services described in the written estimate or service record. Depending on the agreed scope, work may include inspection of accessible areas, identification of common pest activity, and targeted treatment or practical prevention advice.

The technician will explain any preparation steps and restrictions that apply to the treatment. Services do not include work that was not approved, inaccessible areas, repairs, sanitation, removal of building materials, or control of pests and conditions outside the written scope.

Specialized treatments, exclusion work, wildlife removal, and recurring service plans require a separate written agreement when not listed in the estimate. All pesticide products must be used in accordance with their registered labeling and applicable restrictions.

Services are subject to the Illinois Structural Pest Control Act (225 ILCS 235), Illinois Pesticide Act (415 ILCS 60), Illinois Administrative Code, Title 8, Part 250, FIFRA, and applicable licensing requirements. Applicable pesticide-waste rules may include RCRA requirements.

Federal and state regulators, including the EPA and Illinois agencies, oversee relevant requirements.

Setting, Changing, or Canceling a Visit

Appointments are arranged with the customer by phone, email, or another method accepted by both parties. The appointment confirmation or service record states the expected visit window and any preparation or access instructions.

Please give notice as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change a visit; any specific notice period or fee applies only if disclosed before booking or stated in an accepted service agreement. Someone must provide safe access to the areas covered by the appointment, and pets, occupants, and belongings should be managed according to the technician’s instructions.

If the technician cannot safely enter or perform the agreed work, the visit may need to be rescheduled. A request to add areas, pests, or treatment methods changes the job scope.

Illinois Pest Solutions will explain any added cost or scheduling effect and obtain your approval before performing the additional work. A schedule change is not approval for a different treatment or price.

Written Estimates and Charges

An estimate describes the work, price, and any stated conditions based on the information available when it is prepared. It is not approval to perform work until you accept it, and it may need revision if inspection reveals different conditions or you request additional service.

Illinois Pest Solutions will explain a proposed change and obtain your approval before proceeding beyond the accepted scope. The accepted estimate, service agreement, or invoice identifies the amount due and payment timing.

Unless that document states otherwise, payment is due upon completion of the visit. Customers are responsible for charges for approved work, including any expressly disclosed trip or cancellation charge.

Do not rely on a verbal discussion to change a written price or scope; ask for the revised terms in writing. No particular price, payment plan, or financing arrangement is promised by these terms.

Please raise a billing question promptly so the company can review the estimate, service record, and invoice.

What to Expect About Service Coverage

These terms do not create a workmanship warranty, pest-free guarantee, or fixed period of coverage. Any warranty or follow-up service applies only when it is stated in writing in the estimate or service agreement, which should explain its duration, covered pest, and conditions.

Where a written coverage applies, it may depend on following preparation and treatment instructions, maintaining access, and avoiding conditions that contribute to pest activity. A new infestation, a different pest, structural defects, untreated areas, or activity arising from neighboring properties may fall outside the original scope.

Contact Illinois Pest Solutions if pest activity continues after service; the company can review the record and determine whether a return visit is included or requires a separate charge. Nothing in this section changes rights or duties that cannot legally be waived.

Ask for written clarification before accepting service if the coverage terms are important to your decision.

Responsibility for Service and Existing Conditions

To the extent permitted by law, Illinois Pest Solutions’ liability for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. The company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, pest conditions outside the agreed scope, or loss caused by a customer’s failure to follow written instructions.

This limitation does not apply where applicable law prohibits limiting liability, including for rights or remedies under the Illinois Structural Pest Control Act (225 ILCS 235) or Illinois Pesticide Act (415 ILCS 60). Pesticides will be handled subject to applicable Illinois licensing rules, Illinois Administrative Code, Title 8, Part 250, FIFRA registration and labeling requirements, and EPA label directions and use restrictions.

Applicable hazardous-waste requirements, including RCRA rules, remain in force for relevant pesticide waste. Nothing here authorizes conduct contrary to law or limits a regulator’s authority. Please report a concern promptly so the service record and circumstances can be reviewed.

Questions About These Terms

For questions about these terms or a scheduled service, contact Illinois Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@illinoispestsolutions.top. Mail may be sent to Willis Tower, 233 S Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL.

Include your name, service address, appointment date, and invoice or estimate number, if available, so the team can locate the relevant record. These terms apply together with any accepted estimate or service agreement; if a written job-specific term conflicts with this general page, the job-specific term controls for that service unless the law requires otherwise.

Illinois Pest Solutions may update these terms by posting a revised version or providing notice through a reasonable communication method. Changes apply to services accepted after the stated effective date and do not retroactively change an existing agreement without consent.

The version in effect when you accept a service governs that transaction, subject to applicable law.
